Reykjavik Safari: Cultural walk in 6 languages
Would you like join a free cultural walking tour in English, Polish, Spanish, Filipino, Arabic or Lithuanian, listen to Greek café music and mingle with other Reykjavík world citizens?
Where are all the best museums and libraries? What can you do for free? What's on during the weekends? What's available for kids, families and grown-ups?
After the walk, all groups are invited to Reykjavik City Library at Tryggvagata 15 for refreshments and live music with Syntagma Rembetiko! The band features Ásgeir Ásgeirsson on bouzouki, Sigrún Kristbjörg Jónsdóttir on violin, Alexandra Kjeld on bass, and Margrét Arnardóttir on accordion.
Our goal is to showcase the wide array of cultural activities offered by Reykjavík’s libraries and museums, and to encourage Reykjavík denizens to actively participate in our city’s rich cultural life. Reykjavik Safari has been a popular event every summer, and we hope to see as many speakers of all the aforementioned languages in this exciting and edifying event!
Everybody is welcome, free of charge!
