Various professional associations of arts teachers, the Teachers Union and a professional group for creative preschool program, in collaboration with Reykjavík Art Museum, present a symposium with three post-doctoral researchers in art teaching.
The symposium will be held Thursday 22, 2019. August 15:00-17:00
Three post-doctoral researchers in arts teaching will present their research projects and demonstrate their applications for education. It is a great benefit for our society’s educational system that three great women have so recently finished their PhD studies in the teaching of the Arts. Research in this field is the foundation for the development of the arts in the educational system and is the most effective way to influence authorities. With results from such research we can better articulate the impact and meaning of the arts in society.
