Women's Rights Day, also called June 19th, is a day of celebration and action for women in Iceland, where it is celebrated that on June 19th, 1915, women in Iceland, 40 years and older, were given the right to vote and stand for election to the Althing.

The sculpture park Perlufesti was opened on the 19th of June 2014 and is in memory of the female pioneers of Icelandic sculpture. It is located in the southwest corner of Hljómskálagarður.
