Jón Sigurðsson
Event location:
Hafnarhús

Get acquanted with the history of Iceland and Reykjavik through statues and monuments in Reykjavik city centre. How was the country settled? What kind of society and culture was in Reykjavik in the past and how has it gradually changed? One of the best ways to get to know Reykjavik is to walk its streets.

The walk will start in Grófin, between Tryggvagata 15 and 17.

The talk is in English the 2nd of July and in Icelandic the 4th of July. Free participation and everybody is welcome!

The Evening walks are a collaborative programme of The Reykjavík Art Museum, Reykjavík City Library and Reykjavík City Museum.
