The participants of the workshop will learn about Philippine traditional Christmas crafting. The workshop is held both in Philippine and Icelandic and open to children accompanied by adult/s. Supervisor is Kriselle Lou Suson Jónsdóttir.
After the workshop the Múltíkúltíkórinn – Multicultural song group of women will sing Christmas carols in Philippine, Icelandic and other languages. Children and adults are encouraged to sing along.
The workshop is part of the project Many Languages of Art and held at the Reykjavik Art Museum – Kjarvalsstaðir in collaboration with Móðurmál – the Association of Bilingualism.
This event is free and crafting materials, scissors and glue will be provided.
