Reykjavik Children´s Culture Festival 2012 at Reykjavik Art Museum
A diverse and fun schedule will be at Reykjavik Art Musuem during Reykjavik Children´s Culture Festival 2012. The programme will be pre-launched at Ásmundarsafn on monday the 16th of April. Free entrance for adults accompanied by children at Reykjavik Art Museum during the Festival.

Days 17- 22 April, 2-4 p.m.
Reykjavik Art Museum – Kjarvalsstaðir
A project made in collaboration with Halastjarnan at Háteigsskoli Primary School, Kampur Leisure Center and Reykjavik Art Museum. With relation to the work of Antoni Tapies students have created an assemblage loaded with objects from their own culture. Their artworks are displayed in the Family workshop at Kjarvalsstaðir during the festival. Throughout the festival the workshop is open to everyone.
Knit Graffiti at Asmundarsafn Sculpture Garden
Days 17- 22 April, 1-4 p.m
Reykjavik Art Museum – Ásmundarsafn
Knit Graffiti by Auður Alfífa Ketilsdóttir and Tinna Þóru- and Þorvaldsdóttir will be created in the garden with reference to the First Day of Spring, April 19th. During the festival school groups and other interested are encouraged to come and take a look at the work in progress.
Comic- strip workshop
Sunday 22 Apríl 2-5 p.m.
Reykjavik Art Museum – Hafnarhús
Lóa Hlín Hjálmtýrsdóttir, illustrator, musician and artist moderates a comic-strip workshop for the age of 10-12 years old. During the workshops kids are taught the basics in structuring and creating comic-strips with reference to the work of Erró.
