LornaLAB: Programming for young and old. Hafnarhús, Saturday 28th January 1-5 p.m.
LornaLAB in collaboration with Reykjavik Art Museum offers a series of workshops in its program of events. The first workshop during this year is focused towards all ages and moderated by Hannes Högni Vilhjálmsson, IT and mediaartscientist. The workshop is free of charge and open to everyone.
Participants are asked to bring their own laptops. No prior experience with programming is expected.
LornaLAB is a newly founded (late summer 2010) forum for the creative use of technology. Its current function is information, resource and inspiration sharing which has taken the form of lectures, fieldtrips and workshops in its short life to date. Among its members are industrial designers, art theorists, computer scientists, AI researchers, music theorists and new media artists to name a few.
