Symposium in connection with the exhibition New Acquisitions 2006 – 2010 at Kjarvalsstaðir. Moderator is Jón Proppé philosopher and art critic. Speakers include Oddný Eir Ævarsdóttir author, Gunnhildur Hauksdóttir artist and Hafþór Yngvason director of Reykjavik Art Museum. Also participating in the discussion are present and former members of the Museum‘s acquisition board; Birta Guðjónsdóttir, Hrafnhildur Schram and Sólveig Aðalsteinsdóttir. The symposium is in Icelandic. Entrance is free.
