ARTIST'S TALK BY ELÍN HANSDÓTTIR. SUNDAY, 22 MARCH AT 3 PM
PARALLAX – ELIN HANSDÓTTIR Individual artist is invited to create an exhibition that underlines connections with life that is happening outside the walls of the museum. With her installation, Parallax, in gallery A Elin Hansdottir eradicates the distinction between private and public space with questions like: - What is the relevance of adding a false facade to a building, the deception of which is revealed by a single step (pace) sideways? - What happens if an exhibition hall is obliterated? - What happens when a room which you assume to be situated in, is in fact another room? - How can we speak of a specific point of view, in light of its relative nature? The exhibition ends on May 17th.
