Anja Ísabella Lövenholdt and Fríða Dís Guðmundsdóttir, students in art history at University of Iceland will lead a workshop and guided tour at Kjarvalsstaðir Sunday 23 June, 3 p.m. The event is held in relation to the exhibition Icelandic Art 1900-1950: From Landscape to Abstract Art and will use creative ways to look at art history and the different styles and ideas artists from the period express in their work.

Art historian and curator Ólafur Kvaran leads a guided tour through the exhibition Icelandic Art 1900-1950: From Landscape to Abstract Art.
The exhibition gives an overview of Icelandic art from 1900-1950. It brings about 200 paintings from 40 artists from the period that come from both public and private collections.
